I had been admiring Connie's work for some time, and was ready
to move away from "just stringing beads", and thought
maybe I wanted to work with wire. I purchased supplies from Connie,
and had a good collection of beads, but didn't know where to
begin. Then, my Winter of 2007 copy of Step by Step Wire Jewelry
magazine arrived, and when I saw the Vere Donne bracelet on the
cover I knew it was what I wanted to try. Connie's instructions,
combined with a wonderful art instructor named Kate Johnson at
the South Bend Regional Museum of Art, helped me create my version.
Recently, I was fortunate enough to take a class from Connie
in person at the Philadelphia Bead Fest. Working with Connie
was fantastic and I can't wait to take another class. Thanks
