Back To Hammers And Forming Tools List -
Back To Tool Index Page
When I started working with wire I used a
yellow plastic mallet with a large head. I eventually stumbled
upon this nylon mallet with a smaller and heavier face. The smaller
surface allowed me to localize the area I hammered, and because
this mallet is heavier it did the work twice as fast. Both plusses
in my book. Remember, the mallet will not flatten your wire,
only straighten and harden it.
